The group was called at 05:30 hours on 11 February, I managed to contact 18 members 16 of which were available at some time during day (14 all day).
The six members with 4X4 were dispatched to the Eastbourne District General Hospital plus three members to coordinate and run the EDGH sub control. However, fairly early on I managed to contact John Rivers Hastings GC and he informed me that they do not have any 4X4 vehicles available and he was snowed in.
It became obvious that the Conquest Hospital at Hastings was in desperate need of RAYNET's services and three of the 4X4 were dispatched an worked through the day, and still are at the time of writing.
We, again, worked closely with the Marine Coastguard Agency who provided a number of 4X4 vehicles at Hastings and Eastbourne.
